ASUS Maximus VII Hero Z97 i7 4790k @ 4.5GHz 32GB Corsair RAM 1TB HDD 256GB SSD 3TB HDD CD/DVD optical drive I have 4 drives that are connected to the motherboard top 4 SATA ports. Out of the 4 drives, only 2 showed in Boot Priority which are my OS SSD and my optical drive. My 2 other hard disk drives were not showed up in the boot priority, but it does showed up in boot menu, SATA Information ...I just built a new system with MSI 5700 Gaming Edge Wifi motherboard (with click bios), Ryzen 7 CPU and Radeon 5 GPU and Samsung M.2 SSD. I made a bootable Ubuntu image with UNetbootin and confirmed that it works fine on my current computer. When I try to boot from it on the new system I initially get the error: The MSI board is too pricey, while the ASUS motherboard lacks meaningful differentiation from the Hero (Wi-Fi). The ASRock board is a decent alternative if you're on a tighter budget, but it doesn't really compare in terms of usability and features. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy the ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Formula or MSI MEG X570 Godlike though. F2 Setup / F10 Boot Menu prompt: This short beep occurs when the BIOS is ready to accept keyboard input. No action needed. 2 beeps: On-off (1.0 second each) two times, then 2.5-second pause (off). The pattern repeats once. Then the computer continues to boot. Video error (no add-in graphics card installed) Reseat add-in graphics card.
